Life stage living decisions are not always easy and information is key to making quality choices whether for ourselves, parents, grandparents or any loved one. The following are frequently asked questions about our facility, checkin process, daily life, financials, etc. You can click on the tabs below to see the answers to each question.
What amenities are offered?
Golf, Hair & Nail salon, stage for performances, senior center with daily activities all day with piano, acupuncture massage room, petting zoo with local 4H… offering girl/Boy Scouts meeting rooms in senior center – all private bedroom, private bath, private control heating/air, your own sliding door with backyard patio, many many gardens.
What types of resources do you offer?
We have a doctor that comes to us as well as his nurses, we have home health agencies, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, wound care. Podiatry comes to us. Dental hygienist comes to us. We plan the menu around the residents, those that would like to participate once a month.
What are visitation hours for family?
We are open 24/7 visitation is from 9am-8pm.
Why is A Heavenly Home a SAFE place for a loved one to live?
We have awake staff 24/7 we offer 1 caregiver per 3 resident ratio, we have the support of individual houses but a community gated together, we also have motion sensor alerts plus call buttons.
What is the process of admitting a loved one to A Heavenly Home?
First you will take a tour of our facilities. Then we do a resident appraisal at our facility with your loved one. Then we will request a physicians report. Then we complete the initial intake paperwork and schedule a move in date for your loved one.
What types of activities are offered to residents?
Outings examples: local museums, aquariums, fair time, pumpkin patches, zoo, art studio, park and lakes picnics, activities in senior center, exercise daily, gardening, petting zoo, hair nail salon. There is always an upcoming event on the calendar that everyone is looking forward too.
What are the meals like?
We plan the menu a month in advance and love the participation of the residents when doing so.
If someone requests more information about your Home what do you deliver?
We will send you brochures that talk about our facility and the caregivers as well as sample food menus.
